Editor’s Letter:The January Issue
You are allowed to be both a masterpiece and a work in progress, simultaneously.” — Sophia Bush
At a time of year when the pressure of perfection is measured by resolutions, we want to dedicate our January feature to celebrating people in their process—because we believe in progress over perfection. While working on this campaign, I found a Sophia Bush quote that sums it up nicely: “You are allowed to be both a masterpiece and a work in progress, simultaneously.” I couldn’t agree more!
We created BE A WORK IN PROGRESS as a breath of fresh air, a dose of optimism and a rally for acceptance during a month that often puts lofty expectations in our heads. Inspired by the bright colors and fun patterns of our January Collection, this feature sets the stage for experimentation and exploration. To us, it’s not about fixing who you are, but trying new things and honing your craft.
We couldn’t be prouder to share this feature with you. Wishing you a happy 2019 and hope you enjoy being a work in progress as much as we do. Click here for the full story.
